life...

So today I watched a girl I have known for about 10 years get married, and I have to say it was so weird, I mean it seems like a ton of people that I know are suddenly getting married, graduating, and going to college. Its to be expected of course, we are all growing up and moving on with life, but it seems like it all is happening really fast, almost too fast. sometimes I wish life would just stand still, but then of course I have those moments where I am going crazy wishing I could just hurry up and graduate go to college and move on with life... talk about crazy mood swings. lol

Changing the subject, I golfed today for the first time in about a week and did pretty well. Its amazing how just taking a week off u kind of have to start over to a point, and It will probably take me a few more days of golfing to get to where I was before I took a break.
The weather has FINALLY cleared up, so all the greens are faster and all my shots go longer which is AMAZING. I mean for the first three months of golf it rained... rained... and u can probably guess, rained some more... I mean a little rain is good keep everything green and all of that, but, when it gets to the point where you can your fellow golfers and contemplating bringing a canoe so you can get to the next hole I think its a little overboard... time to turn in the clubs and go get a mocha.

So to start out this post I want to say that I don't think people will really be reading this blog, so I am basically just going to write really random things and whatever is on my mind.... You have been warned.

So anyways back to the wonderful subject of school, I have a placement test tomorrow for a private christian school I am going to attend this fall tomorrow and am really nervous about it. Yep you read right, after 16 years of homeschooling I am going to join "the other teenagers" the people that get social lives and that have actually get up before 8:30 during the school week, scary right? I mean it is going to be nice to have a social life be able to do volleyball and basketball with people I know.
But, as I mentioned before I will have to start getting up early which is going to be pretty hard for me, especially because if I get less than 8 hours of sleep I slightly resemble one of the leftover cast from night of the living dead. ya, not a pretty sight.
so ether I will have to start going to bed early, (which will also be hard to accomplish because according to my friend the academics is crazy hard and it will be hard to finish all my homework in time to get to bed early) or learn how to survive on less sleep...

On a different subject my golf banquet was today. We went to a restaurant at a golf course where I live, ate, watched a slide show, and my coach passed out some certificates saying things like good job ecc... all in all the best golf banquet I have been to, which I can say of course because it was my first golf banquet I have ever gone to. Anyways that is all I have to say today. Refer to my other post for the apology about my English skills.

a little about me

So I started a blog a few weeks ago the day before they did that whole... blogs are under maintainace and cant be viewed right now, and my original blog got deleted for some unknown reason, (I am still trying to figure it out). so I just decided to start another blog and hope that this one doesn't disappear too.

So anyways some things about me, I am 16 years old, love golf, and personally think that math was originally created to torture children and provide entertainment for the adults, before electronics were invented. Anyone who disagrees with me ether is probably super smart... an adult (cough cough)or hasn't had to go through the wonderful experience of attempting to do geometry yet...

from the title of this blog you might have made the amazing deduction that I am homeschooled, and you are correct, I am... so I will tell you a little but about that,
I have been homeschooled all my life and at the moment do a program called switched on schoolhouse on my computer, which is pretty convenient, with the small exception  that the program has some mistakes in it. An example would be one of my math problems at the beginning of the year, I had to do something involving multiplying 7 x 4 and somehow they came up with the answer 36... and any 4th grader knows (hopefully) that that isn't right... so I just have to be extra careful with my answers and double checking when it says I got it wrong...

moving on to another subject, golf :) I have been playing for about 2 months now and have come pretty far, I went to being number 12 on the team to number 3 and the other 2 girls ahead of me are seniors and have been playing sense they were freshman, and this is my first year, so I think I can get really good at the game... the season ended about a week ago for me at the first day of districts where I shot the worst I have sense the season started, I got a 122 for 18 holes... needless to say I wasn't very happy with myself that day, especially after I went to another golf course the next day to play and shot a 95 for 18 holes, it was the first time I have shot under 100 for 18, so I picked about the worst day I could have to have a bad day... but oh well, I will just have to do better next year. well that's about it, sorry about any spelling, punctuation, or any other mistakes I made well writing this. English isn't my forte....
