school and going crazy.... is there a connection...?

I want to start this post by saying sorry for not updating my blog sooner. I was planing on writing a post telling you about my first day of school, and my attempt to adjust to: getting up at 6 A.M, having a social life, and surprise, surprise, doing homework. But between the lack sleep and the shock of actually socializing with people, I was too focused on keeping my sanity to think about blogging. Now to summarize my first week of school,
 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA....
ok... I'm better now.

lets just say it was an adjustment....

Now, lets talk about homework. To start off, I will say that I think the people who published my school books have a cruel sense of humor. Example A. my history book. This week I had a number of assignments in history... and lets just say it wasn't pretty. You know the feeling of dread and despair   that creeps up on you whenever you have 10 minutes until you need to go to bed, or else you will resemble a walking dead person the next day? But, you can't find the answer to your last problem.

yep that was me...

I would stay up until the break of dawn trying to figure out my homework problems and keep some sort of sanity. I think I failed at the sanity part. As the night grew longer and longer I kept picturing the publishers cackling to themselves, coming up with problems for the students to attempt to answer, and giggling gleefully to themselves as they add and remove specific vital information. I can hear them: so Jerry hehe ... think they need the date of Columbus' first expedition??? haw haw Jerry- nope, let them guess giggle giggle that should add a few eye twitches to their school stress repertoire.

As the week grew longer and longer from 5 days of school to what it seemed like a decade, I grew more and more desperate... my mom would ask me to set the table as I was studying for a test  and I would blurt out something along the lines of : Dias sailed along the coast of Africa!!!!... then realize what she asked and shuffle over to the cupboard (while mentally going through the 13 colonies) to grab the plates. I would do this multiple times right before my History test... I wonder if there is a connection...? anyways I need to go do math... later folks.
